Lib Dems winning again in Shrewsbury

At Meole Brace School today Liberal Democrats stormed to success in the mock election. Parliamentary Candidates Daniel Kawczynski, Jon Tandy and Charles West made brief presentations followed by their student counterparts and then took questions from the audience.

Liberal Democrats won 68% of the votes to Conservative 21% and Labour 8%.
Commenting, Dr Charles West, parliamentary candidate for the Liberal Democrats said:

“This was a great vote of confidence in Liberal Democrat policies and I congratulate Jack Taylor who spoke with great confidence about the vision for Fairer Britain, a Britain of which we can all be proud.

“Following on from our recent victory at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, this success underlines the fact that the Liberal Democrats are speaking for young people as well as those of working age and pensioners.”
